What is Occupational Medicine?

Occupational medicine focuses on the prevention and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.

Physicians and providers trained in occupational medicine stay current with federal and state regulations for workforce health and safety, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and others so they can create relevant treatment plans and perform regulatory examinations.
