Astria Health is pleased to announce the opening of a new Rapid Care and multi-specialty clinic at 1812 E Edison Ave, Sunnyside.
Astria Health officially opened its new Rapid Care and multi-specialty in Sunnyside on Monday, October 23. The new location is directly across from Sunnyside High School. The Rapid Care service is similar to an Urgent Care model where patients who have minor injuries or feel sick can be seen without an appointment. Rapid Care services include regular physicals, sports physicals, and check-ups; treatment for minor injuries, cuts, and sprains; and care for flu, colds, and other minor illnesses. The Astria Health Urgent Care sign in Prosser will be replaced with a Rapid Care sign soon. Sunnyside Rapid Care hours will be 10am–6pm, every day.
The new clinic will also house six providers in four different specialties, including:
Podiatry and neurosurgery, both previously located at 500 S 11th, have now moved to the new 1812 E Edison Ave location. Orthopedics has relocated from 2705 E Lincoln Ave, Ste A, and added Dr. Zachary Tan. With the recent addition of Dr. Hebard, occupational medicine services will also be located at 1812 E Edison Ave, and services are being expanded from Department of Transportation physicals and L&I claim processing, to include long-term L&I claim case management. Available occupational medicine services include:
The occupational laboratory has also relocated from 802 Miller to the new clinic space, making the location a single-stop for many on-the-job injuries, with major injuries referred directly to Astria Sunnyside Hospital.
Diagnostic imaging will be another service offered at the new clinic location. “We are very excited to be opening this new facility with Rapid Care and multiple medical specialties. Having the additional support services of lab and imaging available for patients on-site will enhance the patient treatment experience,” said Brian Gibbons, President and CEO of Astria Health.
