Astria Health Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Alan Greenwald, to present at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine in the Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine department on Wednesday, November 3.
“It is an honor to share new clinical findings and procedural techniques to future and current physicians in the orthopaedic field,” said Dr. Alan Greenwald, Astria Health Orthopaedic Surgeon. “It is important that we are continually learning and growing in our field so we can provide the best care to our patients and their families.”
Outreach and education in the medical community is an important part of Dr. Greenwald’s career. This presentation is one of many that he has given throughout his 40 years as an orthopaedic surgeon.
According to the Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine department’s Program Operations Specialist in Medical Student Education, Plinette Sanchez, this presentation is part of the department’s monthly “Ortho Grand Rounds” series. Participants include department faculty, current medical residents, staff members and community medical providers. Dr. Greenwald will be discussing the impact of osteoporosis on orthopaedic surgery in 2021.
