Astria Health is pleased to welcome Mahakit Inklab, MD, Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to its Cancer Care team. Dr. Inklab began seeing patients this month as an employed physician.
Dr. Inklab comes to Astria Health with over 18 years of experience as a Hematologist/Oncologist. He studied at Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Medicine, graduating with honors in 2005. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, McKeesport, PA. Dr. Inklab completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Baystate Medical Center–Tufts University School of Medicine, Springfield, MA.
Dr. Inklab has previously worked with Astria Health as a hematologist/oncologist, and has now joined Astria Health as a permanent member of the medical staff. “I’m very happy to be at Astria Health providing blood disorder and cancer treatment services in a rural healthcare setting,” said Dr. Inklab. He continued, “it’s a pleasure to work with the Cancer Center team here, helping patients and their families to find hope and healing.”
