Astria Health is pleased to welcome Amer Khouri, MD, Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to its Astria Health team of providers. Dr. Khouri began seeing patients last week.
Dr. Khouri comes to Astria Health with over 33 years of experience as a Hematologist/Oncologist, and is relocating his practice from Kennewick to Prosser. Dr. Khouri studied at Jordan University of Science and Technology, graduating with honors in 1990. He completed Internal Medicine Residencies in Jordan University Hospital in Amman, Jordan; State University of New York, Brooklyn, New York; and Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. Khouri completed an Oncology/Hematology Fellowship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. “I am passionate about helping patients,” he said, “patients need all the support they can get, medically and emotionally, when dealing with a cancer diagnosis,” said Dr. Khouri. He continued, “it is my goal to help them achieve the best possible outcome.”

Dr. Khouri is now accepting new patients by referral at Astria Health Center, 355 Chardonnay Ave. in Prosser, and will be referring patients as needed to Astria Sunnyside Hospital Cancer Center, 1013 E. Edison in Sunnyside, for infusion therapy. Ask your primary care provider for a referral to see Dr. Khouri at Astria Health.
