Astria Health welcomes new Family Medicine Physician to Astria Health Center, Union Gap

Astria Health is pleased to announce that Christina Eglin, MD, has joined the Astria Health team and is now providing primary care to patients of all ages at the Astria Health Center on Ahtanum Ridge Drive in Union Gap.

When asked what she looked forward to the most in serving the greater Yakima community Dr. Eglin replied, “I grew up in Yakima, seeing the need for medical care in our community. I am excited to help provide that care for people in my home town.”

Dr. Eglin has extensive clinical training to prevent, diagnose, and treat common health problems. From diagnosis to treatment and ongoing care, Dr. Eglin and her team are able to maximize patient outcomes.  Her services include:

• Primary care and family medicine
• Annual exams and immunizations
• Women’s health, including annual exams and contraception
• Skin conditions, including acne treatment and cyst removal
• Treatment of general health problems and minor emergencies, including but not limited to cuts, abrasions, and sprains
• School and sports physicals

Dr. Eglin earned her Doctor of Medicine from Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane and her Bachelor degree from Whitworth University. Most recently, she completed her residency at Central Washington Family Medicine in Yakima. Dr. Eglin is a Yakima native, and is excited to continue her career in the community she calls home.
