Astria Sunnyside Hospital is pleased to welcome Kelly McFee, DNP, MHA, CWS, FNP-C, CWCN-AP, FACCWA, to its wound care team. Wound care specialists provide care and treatment of acute, chronic, and non-healing wounds by referral from your doctor. Acute wounds can include cuts from surgical procedures, animal bites and burns; while chronic wounds refer to pressure sores and diabetic ulcers.
Kelly McFee brings a wealth of experience and advanced clinical expertise in wound care treatment, making her a valuable asset to the community and Astria Health. She holds a Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) degree and a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), alongside multiple certifications that highlight her specialization in wound care. As a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists (FACCWA), Ms. McFee is recognized for her exceptional skills and training in wound assessment, treatment, and prevention. In addition to her clinical roles, she is also a Certified Wound Care Advanced Practice Nurse (CWCN-AP) and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Her strategic and comprehensive collaborative approach to patient care and education ensures achievable outcomes.
