Linda Hawley, PMHNP, Joins Astria Health as Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Astria Health is excited to announce that Linda Hawley, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, is accepting new patients in Prosser and Sunnyside. With over 12 years of psychiatric mental health experience, Ms. Hawley has devoted her life to helping those with mental health issues find a better way to live. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate, genuine approach to behavioral health and psychiatry, treating both adults and pediatric patients ages 5 and up.

Ms. Hawley earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credential from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Hawley became a mental health nurse after losing her son to suicide. “If I can help at least one other mother not have to bury her son, I will have made a difference,” she says.

Ms. Hawley is committed to helping patients achieve their best mental health by offering individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each patient. Her expertise and services include:

  • Diagnosis & treatment of mental health conditions
  • Targeted therapy, including medication management
  • Physical and psychosocial assessment
  • Emergency psychiatric care
  • Treatment effectiveness evaluations

Ms. Hawley treats several conditions including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia as well as co-occurring alcohol use disorder, stimulant use disorder and opioid dependence. Suboxone may provided as indicated. Suboxone is a medication used to treat dependence on opioid drugs including heroin or morphine in patients who have agreed to be treated for their addiction. Suboxone is used to treat addiction in adults and children 15+ who are receiving medical, social, and psychological support.

Ms. Hawely sees patients by appointment with a referral from a primary care provider. Appointments are available Monday through Friday at Astria Health Center in Prosser, located at 355 Chardonnay Avenue and also at Astria Health Center in Sunnyside, located at 803 E. Lincoln Avenue, Suite 2.
