Astria Health is pleased to welcome Nina Kwi, MSN, FNP-C, to the Astria Health team of providers.
Ms. Kwi acquired extensive experience as a nurse before continuing her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. Ms. Kwi is a compassionate care provider with the goal of providing the highest level of care to her patients. She will be seeing patients for rapid care (walk-in primary care) and primary care at Astria Health Center, 516 W Fourth Ave, Toppenish.
Ms. Kwi, Family Nurse Practitioner, received her Master of Science in Nursing, from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Avila University, Kansas City, MO. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, and has a wide range of experience in multiple medical disciplines, including: family practice, occupational medicine, telemetry, orthopedics, primary care, and medical–surgical care units.
Astria Health President and Chief Executive Officer, Brian Gibbons, commented “We are happy to welcome Ms. Kwi to our team of providers here at Astria Health.” He continued, “Ms. Kwi has a strong and varied background in nursing. Her skillset and compassionate nature will be a great assets to our team.”
Ms. Kwi stated, “I’m very excited to be part of the team at Astria Health. The organization has shown me that they care about patients and providing the highest level of care. Our goals regarding patient care align.” When asked about her transition from other types of care to rapid care and primary care, she stated “I’m very excited to be able to follow patients along the whole of their healthcare journey as a primary care provider, as well as offering rapid care for those who have not yet established with a primary care provider. This will allow me to establish an ongoing relationship with my patients, and assist me in providing them the best care possible.”
